Teaching
My teaching at the University of Oregon fosters curiosity, collaboration, and critical engagement across a wide range of courses.
At the undergraduate level, I regularly teach three large lecture classes: COLT 103 (Visual Culture), COLT 232 (Animation), and COLT 370 (Comics and Empire). I also offer seminar-style courses like COLT 305 (Theory of the Sign), COLT 450/560 (Frantz Fanon), COLT 470/570 (Archives/Media/Memory), and COLT 616 (Transmedial Aesthetics).
Whether in large lectures or intimate seminars, my goal is to create spaces where we engage creatively. I emphasize interactive formats, collaborative learning, and experimentation in writing, thinking, and creating.
